Kexin Hao (Beijing, 1993) is the City Artist of The Hague for 2025. In drawings filled with narratives, Kexin offers a unique perspective on The Hague, capturing city life through the eyes of animals. Through her city sketches, Kexin invites you to reflect on the relationship between the city's residents, food culture, the sea, nature, and history.
The City Artist of The Hague is a collaborative project by the Municipality of The Hague, the Public Library of The Hague, the The Hague City Archives, and the art space Nest.
During Hoogtij, we are celebrating the launch of the publication and the opening of the exhibition with a performance by Kexin Hao and an interview.
